JOINT STATEMENT COMMON POSITIONS
1. MEDIA AUDITOR

1. The client will notify the agency of the identity of the media auditor.

The agency is entitled to require proof of:
  • competence of the auditor's staff
  • audit methodologies
  • resources used
  • references
2. THE DEADLINE FOR THE NOTIFICATION

2. The deadline for the notification of the audit is a minimum 4 weeks ahead of the planned audit.

The following should be clearly defined:
  • the structure and scope of the audit
  • the exact schedule of the individual steps
3. CONFIDENTIALITY AGREEMENT

The client and the audit firm shall sign a confidentiality agreement prior to the commencement of the audit.

Why sign a confidentiality agreement:
  • Confidentiality protection
  • Maintaining professional ethics
  • Ensuring trust
4. CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATION

4. The agency is obliged to provide the audit firm with the agreed upon scope of assistance while complying with its contractual obligations.

Entry to the agency accompanied by an authorised person
  • the opportunity to view the documents addressed directly to the specific client and defined in the pre-agreed scope of the audit 
5. FINAL AUDIT REPORT

The auditor shall send the final audit report well in advance.

The final deliverable by the auditor will be accessible only to the client and the audited agency.
